I don't think I've ever seen a book broken quite like that before. She really did an incredible job of it. Still, it was worth it for the breakthrough she made. It's exhilarating to help someone in discovering their abilities.

I've truly toyed around too much this weekend, however. I do need to stop by the station to discuss the egg and Ling Po. Tomorrow, perhaps.

I'll stop by the station again sometime this weekend and see if I can speak with a detective about the stolen egg. Perhaps they'll know something about Ling Po due to her having reported the egg stolen.

This isn't my field. I shouldn't be dealing with this sort of thing--but I'm too intrigued to let it go.

A man who learns languages fluently in three days, a woman who writes about mustard gas mutants, and strange tremors in the earth. This city gets stranger and stranger, but at least Noodle Heaven still serves some of the best sandwiches around.
